Seattle Aquarium
Engineered Sound
Dimensional knew coming into this complex project that it would be a challenge. Dimensional was up to the task. The Seattle Aquarium was planning a complete remodel of its facility, including a 120,000 gallon tank for its “Window on Washington Waters” exhibit. DCI was responsible for the Audio/Visual Systems in this new facility.
The scope of work included distributed audio through multiple zones. a 3-Element LCD screen “video wall” driven by a digital signage engine, Shade control, Video distribution and projection, and a custom programmed Creston Control System to control it all.
Another unique feature was the tank installation of a diver communication system, underwater speakers, camera, and intercom.
